Sounds bad? This time it isn’t that bad. We aren’t the most impolite city anymore. We are listed last in the list means that we are the cheapest city to live in the world out of the 71 cities surveyed. Cheapest in terms of living costs and not the “cheapo” that we use in our everyday language to mean that it’s low class and lousy. At least now, we can boast that we have a good big city with adequate facilities and yet it all comes in one package that is cheaper than anywhere else in the world!
Besides that, UBS conducted another survey of 70 cities. This time it’s the richest cities in the world. Meaning, our incomes relative to other cities in the world.

Okay. This time being last isn’t that savvy anymore. We’re 55 this time. Means that our income relative to other countries in the world is quite low. As usual, Zurich will be first. Banking capital of the world. All the money in the world are just flowing into the city just like rivers. Well, just save your complaining because I know I do complain a lot about everything else. We’re the cheapest city to live in the world but our salaries are slightly above other not so fortunate cities. So double compromising.Slightly lower income but cheaper to live in. So end up, it balances out. Just like Oslo, most expensive living costs but highest income. Once again, it balances out.
Now, we all know where to go to start off our future careers where income is highest and living costs is lowest. You do the optimization this time…

[...] Obviously, from the list, you can see that the top spots are dominated by European cities and topping them all with Switz cities like Zurich and Geneva. Looks like Zurich has emerged to be the world’s most outstanding city being the most liveable city, the richest city in the world and also at the same time one of the most expensive to live in (5th place).
