As usual, I’m always the late one. Just watched the aforementioned Japanese drama series, 11 episodes all within a day.
As the title suggest, this is thus far the most heart breaking, sad and touching drama I’ve ever watched my entire life. I’ve probably cried 2 litres of tears! I’ll admit, I’m a drama king when it comes to sad shows.
The drama is about a true real life person which suffers a neurological disease called spinocerebellar ataxia where the cerebellum disintegrates, removing the person’s ability to walk, talk, eat and perform daily chores slowly and painfully. A true story which has touched the hearts of millions through the her diary. Slowly and painfully written daily as she slowly loses her ability to write to let everyone know what she’s going through and what she hopes and wishes everything and everyone around her to be.
It’s so sad! I cried literally every 10 minutes in every episode.
Her diary has sold 18 million copies so far.
