Something personal.

Today is the lowest day of my entire life. The day I felt like committing suicide. The day I wanted to run away from home. The day, I cried a river.

It will remain a scar for my entire life. A mark of the day, that the heavens came crashing down for me. The day, the feeling of love failed.

Never judge a book by its cover. Never judge my family by what you see from the outside.

I was so close…. so close to running away and ruin my entire future.

So you don’t know who is he? You’ve come to the right place! All you want to know about this guy, ok, maybe not all but most of what you want to know is here.

This guy here, born Malaysian and still is Malaysian. He first opened his eyes to the world in a place called a hospital. The hospital with cutting-edge and state-of-the-art equipment (at that time which was 1987) which can be considered one of the luxury hospitals in that era.

Had many ambitions before getting his mind set. It started out in Primary School when he became an engineer wannabe. It was the “in-thing” that the teachers would ask their student what would they want to be when they grow up although the teacher themselves purely know that their students can decide their life’s course at such an early stage of life but they still do it. The “favs” of most students at that time was doctors, engineers, pilots and businessman.

As he grew up, he had mixed feelings about what career he should take up. In Secondary School, he changed his kiddie ambition to be an engineer to be an actor. He developed a deep passion for the arts when he was at that stage. Shakespeare, Fitzgerald, Bach, Mozart all were his interests. He decided to take up Literature and furthered his knowledge in one of Shakespeare’s work, Macbeth. Learned poems written by famous poets like William Blake and studied short stories that whirled from famous authors like Katherine Mansfield.

He also had a deep passion for the Leo Club which he joined in his Secondary School days. He was a very active member and found himself climbing up the ladder of power to the Board of Directors. He finally landed a position to be the Secretary of the club. He fully embraced the position that led him to win several awards in the Leo Forum beating other Leo Clubs in the country and also not forgetting the Top Leo Secretary award which was the highest award a Leo Secretary could achieve was achieved by him beating hundreds of other Secretaries in the country.

Those Leo Club days are now over and he moves on with life to college. After his Secondary School days and before college, he decided to change is ambition once more as he knew that being an actor in the future, Malaysia ain’t a good place for one. So he finally set his mind straight and finally went back to his kiddie ambition of being an engineer wannabe. Just that now he knows what kind of engineering he wants to take up. So now, he’s considered a Chemical Engineer wannabe.

In college, he took up the South Australian Matriculation programme. It was really a stressful year for him. Lived through terrible lecturers that just don’t listen to their students and also loving, caring and responsible lecturers where the world couldn’t continue to spin without them.

He’s now in University, studying Chemical Engineering. Already done his 1st and 2nd and now in his 3rd, there’s still a long way to go.

Now he’s finally standing here. At 5″8′ and 20 years young, life is still a long way to go. This is where the story ends temporarily.
